Magnesium is a mineral found in green leafy vegetables, avocados, bananas, melon, legumes, nuts, seeds and some whole grains. It plays a role in cardiovascular health, energy levels, migraine headache prevention, and more.

As a supplement, it can act as a gentle laxative in low doses. Magnesium supplements can also help promote muscle relaxation and sleepiness. Magnesium is also beneficial for migraine prevention.

Try 200-400 mg Magnesium Citrate at bedtime to promote sleepiness and gut motility (the next morning!).
